Matt Loughlin
My name is Matt Loughlin; I'm 24 years old and live In Bedford, England. I earn my living as an Internet Marketing consultant specialising in PPC advertising. In my free time, I enjoy various sports including Football and Badminton although I'm not quite up to Olympic standard yet!
I left the University of East Anglia in 2005 with a Bsc hons in Business Management. I spent three fantastic years at university in Norwich and although I enjoy working, I have recently enrolled on a web design course starting in September 2008 to feed my hunger for learning once again!
My main interest is travelling and visiting new places. I have been travelling twice, firstly around North America in 2006 and most recently around the world starting in Thailand, working my way through south-east Asia onto Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and the US before returning home. I would highly recommend travelling to anyone, the experience is truly amazing and is without a doubt the best decision I've ever made.
Ireland is next up on the cards for October 2008 with a trip to Belgium and Germany in November 2008. To relax I enjoy reading good books, most recently the star of the sea by Joseph O'Connor although my favourite book of all time is the Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon.
Those who know me know I love my music, and all genres at that. Whilst I love listening to music on my laptop, in my car and on my iPod, I don't get to as many gigs as I used to, the last being the Silver sun Pickups in Camden 2007.
The most important thing in my life is my family and friends. I have a large, extended family and have always been around many people which has made me value those around me. I'm by and large, a very positive person, I'm always looking ahead and trying to better myself. I believe in myself and I believe that without challenge there can be no achievement.
